Discover the Greenways, an ancient railway converted in an easy and safe path only for bikers and hikers. The last day you will visit many sea villages, with its port, beach and promenades. You will also bike through hidden beaches without buildings such as Castell or La Fosca beach or small villages such as Llafranc or Calella, with its nice charming shops.
Day 1. Arrival at Joanetes Overnight: Joanetes, in a fully restored old farmhouse. Settle down in the rural farmhouse in Joanetes, a small and millenary village in the heart of La Garrotxa county, where the route begins. Day 2. Joanetes – Girona Distance: 54 km. Overnight: Girona, Hotel ****, near the city centre, swimming pool. The route descent to Girona by the Greenway, an easy and safe path, across the countryside and different ancient villages. In the city of Girona you can visit the Old town, the Cathedral and the magnific Jewish quarter, as well as many historical and art museums. Day 3. Girona – Sant Feliu de Guíxols Distance: 45 km. Overnight: Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Hotel ***, 500m to the beach and the city centre, swimming pool. The route continues by the Greenway to the Costa Brava. In Sant Feliu de Guíxols you would enjoy its seafront, its beach and its port. Day 4. Circular route Sant Feliu de Guíxols Distance: 59 km. Overnight: Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Hotel*** 500m to the beach and the city centre, swimming pool. Day 5.
