Iceland photo workshop is one of the most exciting and grateful photographically sites in the world. This expedition is created to offer the best opportunities in the most amazing places in Iceland, taking advantage of our experience achieved in previous trips.
Probably no other place has a great diversity in such a smaller territory. Glaciers and volcanic geothermal areas, waterfalls and valleys of exceptional green, majestic mountains and black sand beaches. All wrapped up in a unique atmosphere and greatly changing weather. The light quality will be spectacular when we will be there: at the beggining of June.
It’s a dream come true for wild life and nature photographers.

DAY BY DAY
FIRST DAY: Settle down in Reykjavík
Arrival at Reykjavík. Settle down in the hotel and welcome/briefing meeting with Touring Catalonia staff at 16:00 to introduce about ‘Iceland photo workshop’. Dinner with all the photo group participants to break the ice.
SECOND DAY: Reykjavík – Thingvellir – Geysir – Gullfoss
Today we will visit the called ‘Golden Circle’, probably the best way to introduce us in this amazing country. We will start to discover its culture, its history, and its natural potential.
THIRD DAY: Seljalandsfoss – Dyrhólaey – Vík
This day, on our route we will enjoy the most beautiful waterfalls in southern Iceland. We will photograph them and we will climb several hills from which ones we could observe the immensity of the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. Also the special black sand beaches.
FOURTH DAY: Vík – Skaftafell – Jökulsárlón
It’s time to know the largest glacier in Europe: the Vatnajökull. After a nice walking tour, we head east to attend a natural show called ‘Jokulsarlon’, which one we are going to photograph until we get tired.
FIFTH DAY: Jökulsárlón – Egilsstaðir
We’ll be seduced by beautiful fishing villages between fjords and if nature wants it for its wildlife.
SIXTH DAY: Egilsstaðir – Myvatn
We will pass the tranquility of the eastern fjords in a lively area, the oasis of Myvatn, its lake and geothermal areas.
SEVENTH DAY: Myvatn – Húsavík
We will enjoy a varied circular trekking route to discover the treasures of Myvatn, camera in hand. Wildlife, volcanoes, and more
EIGHTH DAY: Húsavík – Akureyri – Blönduós
We will get up early in the fishing village of ‘Húsavík. If nature wants it will have the chance to see and photograph whales in Icelandic waters. Then follow the road to the west of the country where we expect new surprises
NINTH DAY: Blönduós – Grundarfjörður
We will reach the Snaefellness peninsula a “mini Iceland” where Jules Verne began the story of the famous book ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’. We will sleep in Grundarfjörður under the watchful eye of mysterious Kirkjufell.
TENTH DAY: Grundarfjorður – Reykjavík
The peninsula will never ceases to amaze us by the variety and bucolic landscapes. On the way we will make several stops in Reykjavik charming, and the ‘night’, a visit to the lively night Icelandic
ELEVENTH DAY: Sweet goodbye
The last day. Time to say: ‘See you soon’. See Departure after breakfast.

Iceland Guide
The yearning to discover new cultures led me to discover parts of the world but also, at the same time, to deepen the knowledge and diffusion of my country: Catalonia. Result of natural evolution as photographer and still learning from different disciplines today I combine several works on travel, landscape, reportage, portrait .. What motivates me is the reason, but try to capture photos simple but vivid, compositionally rich and interesting documentary.
About Iceland: one of my favorite places in this world. I have been there seven times, that will be the eight. Biking, driving, alone or with friends, in Summer or Winnter, raining or sunny, etc... Iceland it is always a magic island and always has a new magic things to offer. Since a long time ago, I am working in a Photo compilation about Iceland.
